Who should attend?

Training managers and/or assistants who want to acquire the key skills and competencies required to manage a successful, high-performance and effective training function.

Objectives:

  •  Manage the budgeting and design of training programs
  •  Recruit and coach trainers to higher levels of performance
  •  Manage the delivery of training programs
  •  Apply Presentation Skills
  •  Design a suitable Evaluation Strategy and follow a ‘Lessons Learned’ Methodology

Workshop Outline:

  •  Aligning the organization's strategic objectives with the training department’s objectives
  •  Implementing basic Project Management processes
  •  Designing consistent strategic and operational training plans
  •  Designing and applying the appropriate Training Needs Analysis process
  •  Designing and Defending strategic training budgeting decisions
  •  Selecting the best training strategy: traditional, e-learning or Blended Learning
  •  Managing the design of training programs (techniques, material)
  •  Recruiting and coaching trainers based on their competencies
  •  Managing the delivery of training programs
  •  Writing appropriate RFPs and selecting the best vendors and consultants based oncriteria
  •  Assessing the core competencies of the trainers and training staff
  •  Applying effective Presentation Skills in presenting training results to the management
  •  Designing a suitable Evaluation Strategy (Kirkpatrick’s 4 levels, plus ROI concepts)
