OEB Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how Human Asset (HATEC SA) (“we”, “our”, “us”) collects, uses and protects your personal data. We are the data controller responsible for the processing of personal data described in this policy.
For personal data collected at this event, Human Asset acts as the data controller, while OEB Learning Technologies Europe GmbH and FairVerify Event Solutions GmbH act as our processors under a Data Processing Agreement (DPA).

2. What this policy covers
This policy applies to all personal data we collect in the course of our activities, including our communications, events and related services. It does not apply to third-party services or platforms managed by other providers, which are governed by their own privacy notices.
3. The personal data we collect
We collect only the data necessary for specific, legitimate purposes:
•Contact and identification data: company name, company address, branch of the company, company size, salutation, title, first name, last name, position.
•Communications data: telephone number, e-mail address, etc.
•Technical data: QR-code identifier.
We do not intentionally collect special-category data (e.g. health, ethnicity, religion) unless explicitly required for accessibility or inclusion purposes, in which case we will ask for your explicit consent.
4. How and why we use your data
We process personal data only for defined and lawful purposes:•record your interest in our or services;
•follow up with you after the event regarding specific inquiries, training opportunities or collaborations;
•maintain statistics about booth interactions for internal reporting.
The lawful basis for this processing is your explicit consent given at the time of the scan, when you approve the processing of your data via the FairVerify Event Solutions GmbH lead-capture app (Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us at dataprotection@humanasset.com.
5. How we share your information
We share personal data only with trusted partners who process it on our behalf and under strict contractual terms:
•Website hosting and IT support providers;
•Email marketing and newsletter tools;
•Event-management or video-conferencing platforms (e.g. Zoom, Teams).
For data collected at events, we share personal data with OEB Learning Technologies Europe GmbH and FairVerify Event Solutions GmbH only as necessary to operate the lead-capture system. These parties process the data strictly under the DPA provided by the event organiser. We never sell or rent personal data.
6. How long we keep your data
We retain event registration data only for up to 12 months after the event to allow for relevant follow-up communication, unless you withdraw your consent earlier. When retention ends, data is securely deleted or anonymised.
7. Your rights under the GDPR
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
•Access – receive a copy of the data we hold about you.
•Rectification – correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
•Erasure – request deletion.
•Restriction – limit processing in certain circumstances.
•Portability – obtain your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
•Objection – object to processing based on legitimate interests or to direct marketing.
•Withdrawal of consent – for any processing based on consent, at any time.
Event attendees may exercise all GDPR rights described in this section in relation to the data collected at this event by contacting us at dataprotection@humanasset.com.
If you believe your rights have been violated, you can lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (HDPA) or your national supervisory authority.
8. Security of your information
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration or unauthorised access, in accordance with Article 32 GDPR. When data is collected at events through the official lead-capture system provided by OEB Learning Technologies Europe GmbH and its subcontractor FairVerify Event Solutions GmbH, these processors implement security measures required under our DPA. These include controlled access to systems, encrypted transmission, secure storage within the EU and procedures for detecting and responding to security incidents.
Event data collected through the lead-capture system is transferred to us securely and is deleted from the processor’s systems six weeks after the event, in accordance with the agreement. Only authorised Human Asset staff can access the lead data and all access is protected by appropriate internal controls.
